Product Introduction
The Allen-Bradley 1783-BMS06SA Stratix 5700 Ethernet Managed Switch is an industrial-grade network switch designed for reliable, high-performance communication in automation and control systems. Developed in collaboration with Cisco technology, the Stratix 5700 series is widely used in industrial Ethernet networks where stability, security, and deterministic communication are required.
This model provides a combination of 4 Fast Ethernet 10/100 Mbps copper RJ45 ports and 2 SFP slots, allowing flexible fiber or copper network configurations. It is suitable for applications that require segmentation of control networks, integration of PLCs, HMIs, drives, and remote I/O systems.
The switch supports 24/48 VDC power input (12–60 VDC range) with dual power input capability for redundancy, improving system reliability in critical industrial environments. With DIN rail mounting and IP30 protection, it is designed for installation inside control cabinets in manufacturing and process automation systems.
