Product Introduction

The Schneider Electric ATV320U40N4B is a variable speed drive (VFD) from the Altivar Machine ATV320 series, designed for industrial OEM applications. It can supply both three-phase asynchronous and synchronous motors, with a rated power of 4 kW (5 hp) and a supply voltage of 380…500 VAC.

The drive features a robust industrial design with conformal-coated PCBs compliant with IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3, ensuring reliable operation in harsh environments and at ambient temperatures up to 60°C without additional cooling.

It provides sensorless flux vector control for high dynamic performance, ensuring precise torque and speed regulation even at very low speeds. The drive supports high-speed applications, parallel motor connections, and energy-efficient open-loop operation for synchronous motors. It also includes five integrated safety functions configurable via SoMove software.
