The Schneider Electric ATV320U75N4B Variable Speed Drive is part of the Altivar Machine ATV320 series, developed specifically for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). It is designed to drive three-phase asynchronous and synchronous motors, providing reliable and flexible motor control for a wide range of industrial machine applications.

With a rated motor power of 7.5 kW (10 hp) and a supply voltage range of 380–500 VAC, the ATV320U75N4B delivers stable speed and torque control under varying load conditions. Its rugged design incorporates conformal-coated printed circuit boards compliant with IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments. The drive can operate at ambient temperatures up to 60°C without additional cooling, helping to extend machine availability and reduce system complexity.

The drive integrates general-purpose performance functions suitable for most industrial applications. These include high torque and speed accuracy at low speeds, as well as high dynamic performance achieved through sensorless vector control. It also supports V/f control mode for parallel motor operation and special motor configurations, providing good static speed accuracy.

In addition, the ATV320U75N4B supports energy-saving operation for open-loop synchronous motors, improving overall system efficiency. The drive software includes five integrated safety functions, configurable via SoMove software, enabling machines to meet safety requirements with or without the use of external Preventa safety modules.

Designed for both simple and advanced applications, the Altivar Machine ATV320 series is widely used in packaging, material handling, textile machinery, material processing equipment, mechanical actuators, and lifting systems. The drive complies with IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 standards for safety and EMC, and is certified by CE, UL, CSA, NOM, EAC, and RCM.
